Use the public home page to understand the client and shipper sides, search the marketplace, inspect provider profiles, and decide which account path fits.
Who can do this
- Available to everyone without sign-in.
Before you start
- Know whether you are mainly looking for fulfillment services or looking to provide those services.
- Have a target service location if you want to test marketplace search.
Steps
- Open the Fulfield home page and read the hero statement. Use the location search immediately if your first question is which shippers serve a city, state/province, or country.
- In Choose your side of Fulfield, switch between For Clients and For Shippers. The selected view changes the workflow steps, benefits, feature explanations, and calls to action; the browser remembers the chosen view for a later visit.
- Use the Client view when you own/manage products and need receiving, storage, fulfillment, returns, billing, and store connections. Use the Shipper view when you operate space and labor that will perform those services.
- Review the feature and differentiator sections to identify must-have capabilities, then compare those needs against actual shipper profiles rather than assuming every provider offers every feature.
- Open the current pricing/plan section for the relevant side. Treat displayed live configuration and a later contract as authoritative rather than relying on an old screenshot or article.
- Use public search to browse approved shippers, then open individual profiles to inspect warehouse, service pricing, operating commitments, capacity indicators, reviews, and approximate location.
- Use Help for task instructions, FAQ for short conceptual answers, How-to Videos for demonstrations, and Contact when public guidance cannot resolve a sign-in or pre-account issue.
- Choose Sign Up only after deciding Client versus Shipper. Browsing does not require an account; contacting a provider, requesting a contract, and submitting a shipper application do.
Fields and decisions
- The For Clients/For Shippers switch changes explanatory content; it does not create an account or change an existing account role.
- Client means a merchant/product owner seeking fulfillment. Shipper means the warehouse/3PL/fulfillment provider selling services. Carrier means the transportation company used for labels and handoff.
- Public profiles show only currently eligible marketplace providers. They are operating listings, not a directory of every applicant.
- Marketing descriptions explain product capabilities. The Help Center explains how to use the screen, and an accepted contract defines the commercial relationship.
- Public search and scenario estimates are evaluation tools. They do not reserve warehouse space or promise a rate.
- Preference controls change language, display units, and display currency; they do not rewrite stored contracts or underlying physical quantities.
Finished when
- You can state whether you need a Client or Shipper account and identify the next public or registration task.
- If evaluating fulfillment, you have a target location and a list of required services ready for search.
What this changes
- The audience switch and preferences can be stored in the browser for display continuity.
- No public exploration step creates an operational or financial record.
Common problems
You are unsure whether shipping products makes you a Shipper.
Choose Client if the products are yours and another warehouse will fulfill them. Choose Shipper only when you provide warehouse/fulfillment services to other businesses.
A feature described on the home page is absent from a specific provider.
Product capability and provider offering are different. Check that shipper profile, services/pricing, and contract terms.
The page opens in the wrong audience view.
Select For Clients or For Shippers again. This display choice is remembered locally but does not affect account data.
Safety checks
- Do not create both account types simply to explore; use public pages first and choose the operational role you actually perform.
- Do not treat marketing copy, a search badge, or an estimate as an accepted contract term.
- Use the public Contact page when the site is inaccessible, the intended role cannot be selected, or a public page repeatedly fails. Include the route, device/browser, and screenshot without credentials.
