Getting Started

Become a Fulfield Shipper (Fulfillment Service Seller)

P0PublicShipper

Decide whether your space, labor, processes, pricing, and verification readiness fit the provider role that Fulfield calls a Shipper.

Who can do this

  • Anyone can evaluate and begin the Shipper signup path.
  • Only the Shipper owner account submits the operating application and verification documents.

Before you start

  • You control legitimate storage/warehouse space and can receive, store, pick, pack, hand off, and account for other businesses products.
  • You can state actual capacity, service scope, pricing, operating schedule, verification identity, and how client money will be billed/paid out.

Steps

  1. Confirm the role terminology: Fulfield calls the fulfillment-service seller a Shipper. Ecommerce merchants selling products are Clients; UPS, FedEx, USPS, and similar companies are carriers.
  2. Evaluate the physical operation: secure space, receiving access, storage method, SKU capacity, photos, handling process, packaging/label capability, carrier handoff, returns, and staff coverage.
  3. Decide the initial services you can perform repeatedly. Registration requires at least one receiving service and one fulfillment service with complete pricing; removal alone is not sufficient.
  4. Define truthful price models and units for each selected service: fixed, per-unit, base-plus-additional, or tiered. Include only services the location and team can actually deliver.
  5. Define working commitments: time zone, processing time, order cutoffs, weekend availability, carrier drop-off/pickup, inbound receiving hours and appointments, returns timing, and blocked dates.
  6. Review the current shipper plan choices and payment models. Registration itself is free; the $0 Free plan supports up to 5,500 fulfillment orders per month from one warehouse, while a paid plan is needed when its greater capacity, locations, or features are selected. A nonzero plan requires a plan payment card before verification.
  7. Prepare individual or business verification documents and ensure the names, tax/business identity, phone, and operating address can be verified.
  8. Open Sign Up, choose Shipper, accept the terms, create/verify the account, sign in, and complete the six-step Shipper Application.
  9. After submission, wait for approval or requested changes. Approval enables the portal/public eligibility but payout, services, profile, and client contracts must still be operationally ready before work.

Fields and decisions

  • A spare garage can qualify only if it is lawful, secure, truthfully described, and capable of the services offered; the product does not turn unsuitable space into a compliant warehouse.
  • Individual versus business changes required identity documents and business fields. Choose the legal operating form, not the easier document path.
  • Public photos, business identity, facility type, capacity, services, prices, schedule, and performance can influence client discovery and contracting after approval.
  • The shipper sets service pricing and the client payment model within available product rules. Direct-payment clients pay the shipper outside Fulfield and carry no per-service referral fee. For a Fulfield-managed client, the referral fee is charged only when Fulfield collects income for the shipper. Both are separate from any selected paid plan subscription.
  • Verification and approval do not promise clients, revenue, capacity utilization, or a particular search rank.
  • Operational claims become service expectations and contract inputs. Conservative truthful limits are safer than aspirational capacity.

Finished when

  • You can meet every six-step application prerequisite and have chosen the Shipper role intentionally.
  • You have a realistic initial service catalog, price model, schedule, facility description, plan decision, and verification packet.

What this changes

  • Creating the Shipper account establishes a provider-role identity and registration route.
  • Submitting the application creates an admin review record; approval can make eligible public profile information discoverable.

Common problems

You sell products but do not provide fulfillment to others.

Choose Client. Using a carrier to ship your own goods does not make the account a Fulfield Shipper.

You can store goods but cannot receive and fulfill orders.

Do not claim unsupported services. Registration requires both receiving and fulfillment capability; prepare the operation before applying.

You operate both a brand and a warehouse service.

The roles have separate workflows and permissions. Contact support for the clean account arrangement rather than misclassifying one account.

You are not ready with pricing or schedules.

Use the preparation guide first. Placeholder prices and unrealistic commitments become public/contract problems later.

Safety checks

  • Do not upload false, altered, expired, or unrelated identity/business documents.
  • Do not list space, services, staff availability, certifications, capacity, or carrier arrangements you do not control.
  • Do not create duplicate applications while one is pending.

When to contact support

  • Contact support before applying when role structure is unclear, the operation spans countries/legal entities, or required verification/business information cannot be represented. Never send documents through ordinary public contact text unless a secure method is provided.
