Review a Shipper Profile

P0PublicClient

Evaluate the warehouse, public capacity and performance signals, service rate card, packaging definitions, operating commitments, reviews, photos, and location before contacting a shipper.

Who can do this

  • Anyone can read an eligible shipper public profile.
  • Signed-in clients can see the precise address and continue to messages/contracts after completing their profile.

Before you start

  • Open the provider from the intended location results and keep a written list of must-have services/constraints.
  • Know whether you are browsing anonymously or as a signed-in client because address and actions differ.

Steps

  1. Review the header: warehouse photos, profile image/logo, business name, Verified badge, member-since date, operator name, city/region/country, warehouse type, free-space indicator, and review average/count.
  2. Open View all photos when available and confirm the images are consistent with the facility type and intended handling; photos support evaluation but do not prove current capacity.
  3. Read the four operating signals: Remaining Capacity and SKU capacity, Service Level/performance, Availability for the displayed year, and average Message Response Time when data exists.
  4. In Warehouse, verify storage type, total space, SKU capacity, docking station, and residential/commercial characteristics against freight, security, compliance, and growth needs.
  5. In Services & Pricing, find every required receiving, storage, fulfillment, return, removal, packaging, labeling, kitting, or other service. Read the pricing model, driver unit, tiers, and subitems.
  6. Read Packaging Size Definitions when shown so shipper-defined envelope/box categories are understood before comparing packaging charges.
  7. In Service Commitment, verify order processing/cutoffs, weekend behavior, carrier drop-off or pickup and times, inbound receiving days/hours/processing, appointment requirement, return-processing timeframes, time zone, and blocked dates.
  8. Read review count, average, category breakdown, individual comments, verified relationship badge when present, and shipper responses. Use View all reviews when the preview is truncated.
  9. In Location, anonymous users see an approximate position; sign in as a client to see the exact warehouse address. Do not route inventory from the public map.
  10. Choose Contact Shipper for unanswered operational questions or Send Shipment to begin the contract path only after the full profile meets the shortlist criteria.

Fields and decisions

  • Verified is platform approval, not certification for a particular commodity, regulation, or carrier program.
  • Remaining capacity combines configured warehouse area/levels and current usage; it can change after profile review.
  • Service Level, Availability, response time, ratings, and member history are complementary evidence. Missing history should be treated as unknown, not automatically good or bad.
  • A displayed service without usable pricing may still require discussion. A service absent from the catalog should not be assumed available.
  • Cutoff and processing commitments use the profile time zone and business-day rules. Blocked dates can override normal schedules.
  • Public maps intentionally protect the exact address. A signed-in address still must be used through the official shipment/contract workflow.

Finished when

  • The profile satisfies every must-have location, facility, capacity, service, price-model, SLA, return, and schedule requirement or has a documented question for the shipper.
  • You know whether to reject, contact, or proceed to contract review and why.

What this changes

  • Viewing the profile and photos does not notify the shipper.
  • Contact and contract buttons create records only after the required signed-in action; public profile review alone changes nothing.

Common problems

A section or metric is missing.

Treat the information as unavailable. Do not infer a default; contact the shipper if it is material.

A service appears but pricing says Contact for details or Quote.

Use Contact Shipper before signing and ensure the intended contract pricing schedule is explicit.

The approximate map is not sufficient for freight planning.

Sign in as a client and complete the profile to reveal the precise address, then confirm shipment requirements after contract approval.

A blocked date conflicts with a normal schedule.

Treat the blocked date as unavailable and ask the shipper about timing before creating work.

The profile changed after you shortlisted it.

Re-review service pricing, SLA, capacity, and terms immediately before sending the contract request.

Safety checks

  • Do not ship to an address copied from a public map or profile outside the official inbound workflow.
  • Do not rely on photos, badges, or one score in place of service/pricing/SLA review.
  • Do not assume a missing field means the most favorable value.

When to contact support

  • Contact support when profile sections contradict each other, protected address data is exposed publicly, a verified badge/status appears inconsistent, or profile terms differ from the agreement after refresh. Include shipper ID/name and the section.
