Add the business, address, fulfillment profile, and warehouse requirements Fulfield uses to tailor shipper discovery and client workflows.
Who can do this
- Anyone considering a Client account can review the required information before signing up.
- Only a signed-in Client account owner can save the registration or profile.
Before you start
- Verify the account email and sign in as a client.
- Prepare business identity, primary and billing addresses, typical package dimensions/weight, order and inbound volume, product category, and special warehouse requirements.
Steps
- Open client registration or Profile and enter Business Information, including business name, position, and optional website.
- Enter the primary business address using address suggestions when available; confirm city, state/province, postal code, and country.
- Enter the billing address or indicate that it matches the primary address when the screen offers that choice.
- Complete the fulfillment profile with typical package dimensions and units, weight and unit, average outbound orders, inbound volume, product category, and any relevant operating values.
- Describe warehouse requirements such as temperature control, regulated goods, fragile handling, special packaging, or return needs.
- Review the summary and save. If the page permits Skip, understand that access remains limited until required profile information is complete.
Fields and decisions
- Use typical values for the scenario profile rather than one exceptional shipment.
- Choose dimension and weight units explicitly; display preferences do not correct a value entered with the wrong unit.
- Warehouse requirements should describe operational constraints a shipper must support before contracting.
Finished when
- The profile saves without required-field errors and the client portal becomes available.
- Search and comparison features can use the saved operating profile.
What this changes
- Updates the client business profile and the assumptions used in shipper search/comparison.
- Changing the profile does not change existing contract terms or previously created work.
Common problems
Address suggestions do not find the location.
Enter a more complete street/city query, then verify every address component before saving. Use manual fields only when provided.
The form saves but access remains limited.
Return to Profile and look for incomplete required sections or an error banner; confirm business, address, and fulfillment fields.
Units or volumes were entered incorrectly.
Edit Profile before using comparisons. Existing orders or shipments keep their own values.
Safety checks
- Do not enter personal payment or credential secrets in warehouse requirements.
- Do not assume profile edits amend an active contract.
- Contact support when valid required fields will not save, a verified address cannot be selected, or a completed profile still blocks the portal. Include the section name and validation text.
